ok the build quality is great i just wish it had a pitch knob you can only do straight 33/45

you can also use effect limit mode on the 404 compressor for more ducking. there's threads about this do a search you'll find good info

ordered the lp60 will give feedback later

can't decide between a pt01 for the third time or trying the audio technica. the lp60 is better quality but less portable. does anyone use a turntable without pitch control for sampling with a 303/404? wondering if the basic 33-45 button would be enough

its cool but i think it needs more samples or instruments to add to or counter the main loop. like some flutes or vocals to add harmony. also the drums are maybe a little too dirty. i could hear some percussion on it too

dunno about effects but samples definitely sound dirtier when you record in. grainier and jellyish in a good way

i'm sure everyone would be interested in seeing the complete film. kind of like taking that behind the beat book and turning it into a movie. the stones throw doc was kind of underwhelming-- should have just been all madlib studio scenes

did the all ears doc get put on hold? i couldn't find a full length version of it anywhere
