the alias & ehren album is one of my favorite albums of all time , i've yet to hear anything that comes close to the complexity and feel of the album

same can be said for the project with tarsier

like to use 2 of the same drum hits, cause i think each pad is mono, mpc people know what i mean, by default. it sounds a bit more natural when you use double kicks or "swinging" kicks

I just used 3 drum hits (snare, kick, hi hat) and still got a really (I think) natural feeling snare roll. It's a little repetetive because the roll is in every 2nd bar, but I still like how it turned out.

i go to school, dj a bi-monthly event, listen to music and read various music related magazines.. tvs not my thing, im waiting for the trend to catch on!

you can trigger the notes from the "virtual keyboard"

if you're into the way vinyl sounds and going to be sampling things that aren't too easily recognizable then get yourself a numark p-01 or whatever that portable is called and some records

So how/what is everyone using to listen to music??? on the go and at home??

i'll start it off

at home i usually use my home set of speakers, cheap consumer grade speaks..

on the go, i use the sony mdr-v150's, cheap headphones, i wore out my technics rpdj1200's and just lost my sony mdr-v500 ...
