Drum Programming show-off!

Post by mostblunted »

Show us your tracks that you think came out well when it came to drum programming.

For me, it's my track called 'where is he'.
I just used 3 drum hits (snare, kick, hi hat) and still got a really (I think) natural feeling snare roll. It's a little repetetive because the roll is in every 2nd bar, but I still like how it turned out.

now for inspiration, show off some serious drumming skills on the sp-303/sp-404!

Very nice, really liked the roll actually. It's not at all disturbing that it repeats itself this often. Excellent job! 8)

Fresh beat, but I already heard 'cause I cruise the net and listen to everyones beats when I'm bored. I think I saw this like 2 nights ago on you soundclick.
I actually like the drum programming I did on the joint I just posted.

Nice one, I'm crap on drum programming but on the offtopic note - some nice new beats there. That orchestra sample on I'm doomed sounds like the one on some hiphop tune, and now I'm losing my mind thinking which one?!? Or is it just sounding alike...?

hmm.. got it.. It was Krs-One's song "Friend".. figured it out after thinkin it can't be Biz Markies "Just a friend" which somehow popped in to my mind many times. But then again now I'm thinking it's not the same :)
