he said in an interview that he uses a mpc, but also a lot of software.
He says he loves reason.

From what I read,he's using an MPC 2k as his workhorse,a Digi001 with Pro Tools 5 and discovered Reason which he mainly uses for the keyboards sounds.He also have a few analog synths as well...

Yeah, that was a pretty good interview. Thanks for linking to that, on that same site they have a dope interview with Hank Shocklee from the Bomb Squad. i've checked a bunch of stuff on those redbullacademy vids. they're always really interesting, but yeah, that hank shocklee one is off the hook.
