true but i just like working on the 303, without computer and shit, you know?

too bad that doesn't work, would have been a wicked way to arrange the 303 beats tight without late/early patterin triggering... ;)

this might be a total beginner question but i don't have the manual nearby at the moment...

is it possible to trigger PATTERNS via MIDI IN?

e.g. hooking up the sp-303 to a sequencer (logic) and having logic tell the 303 when to play which pattern?

thanks!

ok, thanks for your help. that's pretty much what i thought so myself.

i know what you mean with playing the beat "live" while resampling, i don't mind a loose beat, but the stuff i'm working on is to complex to be played live in one take. i guess i'll just have to record the beat on my computer ...

resampling whole pattern?

this question was probably asked a hundred times already, but i didn't find it in one of the 303-posts (or i probably just missed it), so i'll ask again...

is it possible to resample a complete pattern (meaning the whole groove you put together from individual samples onto one pad)? (on a 303 ...

thanks for the info.

does anybody know if the headphone output has the same D/A-converters as the main out, because if they are the same quality i'll just use the headphones as main out.

thanks.

problem with CINCH output

so today i unplugged my 303, and later plugged it in again (the chinch cable connected to the output) and suddenly my right output channel isn't working properly.

it only works if i push the cable (plugged in) a little bit to the right. seems to be a bit loose... i tried different cables, same ...

thanks for the info, that's what i thought aswell... yeah, you're right about the little "breaks", i guess i've just gotta slow down my pulse while working with the 303... it's quirky but real dope.

anyways.... i know that the 303 isn't the fastest processing machine in the world, but i was quite surprised that when i recorded a sample (even a quite long one) on ...
