problem with CINCH output

so today i unplugged my 303, and later plugged it in again (the chinch cable connected to the output) and suddenly my right output channel isn't working properly.

it only works if i push the cable (plugged in) a little bit to the right. seems to be a bit loose... i tried different cables, same problem.

has anybody else come across this problem? it really sucks, because i didn't do anything with the 303 (like drop it or so)...

what to do?

The connection to the circuit board might be loose or something Jim Y would know more than myself though. You can always send audio out from the headphone jack in the meantime.

same thing happened to me before.

i lent my 303 out . and when i got it back the rca's only worked if you pushed it to the side , and pad 5 was broken . , then i dropped it and the display broke , then a year or so later the knobs started bugiing out. but someone is still using it to this day. its from when they first came out when they costed 800 bucks.

thanks for the info.

does anybody know if the headphone output has the same D/A-converters as the main out, because if they are the same quality i'll just use the headphones as main out.

Yeah it's the same D/A converter. There is a slight difference in the DB level, check the back of the 303 manual for the exact difference between the headphone jack and the line out. I've used both with no problems.
