if u own a Ps2 there's a joint called MTV2: Music Generator that has all sorts of synths from a variety of genres. Also some nifty drum kits as well.

Sahpreem King has a book out that was pretty informative can't recall the name of it tho, I'm sure if you search the name you'll be certain 2 find it....hope it's of some use to you.

I'd have 2 say I tinker with the efx #21 which I believe is Canceler while recording a sample cuz I went thru hella records & glorious sounds come from L-R signal. 1st off, I'll have the MP in record mode & go back in 4th from L-R and the difference in sounds I hear...RIDIC ...

[color=blue]I'd have 2 say hands down the 303 gets my vote...from the feel of the pads, to the portablilty...I also rock with the MP2kxl but i'm seriously debating letting that go 4 a downgrade to a 1000 or another MP with a CF card reader. cuz it just doesn't suit me n e longer [/color]
