If you bought a 555 without realising it's not got more than the most rudimentary sequencer,

you shoulda done your homework. . there's no other way to put it!

i dont know if this is what youre talking about but on my 606 the only way to change the bpm and save it is to do it in realtime recording. just start recording, change to desired bpm, and let the sequence play thru, and hit stop. i hope this works for you but i've never touched a 555.

ahah no offense don't worry! i dont want to diss on this piece of gear, it's just tremendously not fitting for me, it just cant help.
I dont make hiphop, or slow stuff whatsoever and i needed a sequencer. Honestly you can't call this a sequencer properly. This is something more like a "recorder ...

I can't believe it.
Please tell me i missed something.

There is NO WAY to save a pattern's bpm information
that means
you have to remember what bpm you played the pattern initially everytime?

If the above is correct,
you will see my sp 555 on ebay by tomorrow.

For example about using the 555 in a liveset environment. How would you do that? I have an idea but i don't know if it makes sense...

So i bought it.

I only had a couple of hours to play with it and overall i'm pleased with it.

BUT I'M SO PISSED ABOUT THIS: everytime you want to reset the loop capture after you've recorded a phrase (say you dont like it) and you hit DEL to delete it, EVERYTHING WILL STOP!!!
