i just found out that there is a 1.03 version upgrade for the 555 OS.
From the readme:
While using the LOOP CAPTURE and when the SOURE SELECT is set to EXT ONLY, if you continue to only overdub the external input signal while playing a pad at the same time, we resolved the issue that caused it to occasionally start recording the sound from the pad, which is not suppose to record.
... well yes, this is the only improvement they did! I hoped they solved so many of the other issues (like the quantize and length values that always fall back to off and 4) etc (especially the loop capture limitations make me go crazy) ... why dont we all sign a petition or send emails to roland to ask for improvements? I mean, this is the user base! they gotta listen to us!
