Check for an option called "remote" or something similar.
I haven't used Sonar much, but there should be something like that there.
If you can find it make sure its on.

It is basically telling the pc that the 555 is a remote control and to accept any incoming messages.

to copy a pad sample press and hold delete then resample

to change a pad sample hold delete and press sampling

in both situations all pads will flash, so now you press the one you want to change/copy then press the sampling button.

Hope that helps

Also if you hook the kaosilator to a kaos pad of anykind you can adjust the sounds quite a bit before you record it into the sp.

Makes it way more versatile.

Yeah its very limited, this unit is mainly why I got my 555. I needed a "real" sampler.

I think you might be talking about SD cards, CF cards dont have a corner cut off, they have a whole bunch of holes in the side as if it was an actual disk.

"They operate at 3.3 volts or 5 volts, and can be swapped from system to system." - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CompactFlash

mark?

Is it just me (not reading the manual properly) or is there really nothing about marking stuff you resample in the manual?

I looked in the index (back of the manual - a-z section mark is apparently on page 12) and I go to page 12 and it just talks about what the button does.

can anyone help me ...
