it is NOT 404 only, but to implement pattern copy for the 303, I'll need help from 303 users.

To plexx : well the pattern copy thing is really easy and could be implemented, if some people find it useful. I'll check into it. Maybe a copy matrix ? (like being able to copy on B3 E12 and G6 at the same time)

I'll up to remember you all I actually started a SP software companion.
Ive uploaded the software on the 404 forum..it is working and free for you to download.
Ive given up developpement on it since there was not much feedback.

If you think about it the 404 is 303ex and the 303 si a 202ex.

I guess you'll have to wait for next gen to see these improvements.

The old greg one REALLY is an instant classic. Totally weird and creepy, but utterly cool nonetheless

Yeah basically the TR is just a X50 on steroids, with sampler, sequencer and xy joystick instead of modwheels. The TR felt somewhat sturdier, and was within my budget so I figured why not ?

But for the price I guess you can't beat the microX : it has beautiful and more "up to date" synths, and ...

well, you can get triangle, sine and square waveforms, you can combine two pseudo-osc, prob. even detune (I'll have to check), and you get also realtime knobs to adjeuts filter...So you can get synths like sounds from scratch but it isn't as instant as the real thing...

4.The pads are mpc NOT pads...they're much more sensitive. As for reliability, I used for 6 months and it is not enough to answer fully your question
