Boss SP series "program-maker/editor-application"?

Is there one?
like the MPC Pad 187 for the MPC 1000:

I had both once and it was so comfortable to be able to arrange all the samples onto the pads and stuff..

If it doesn't exist, anyone up for the challenge of writing one?
We could create a small fund for it.
