KORG D1200/D1200MKII

Post by genn bo »

so I got myself a D1200MKII multitrack recorder, but it doesn't have a power supply. searched the net for some diy info ir something like that with no luck. don't have money for a new power supply (90$ is way too much for me to handle now, and i paid less for the unit itself =]]).

so if anyone has one with original AC adapter i would really appreciate any info on its pinout. As far as i know there should be +12V - 12V and +5V DC on pins of DIN7 connector. But got no clue how are those voltages distributed...

also any info on cheap power supplies appreciated.

thank you

I am pretty sure that it's the same power supply as for the Electribes EMX-1 and ESX-1 (with SmartMedia slot, not sD).

I use the same power supply for my EMX-1 and D12. I wish I had a d1200, no USB on mine...

(edit:actually I really don't know if it's the same power supply, mine has 9VAC and 4 pins only)

See if you can get a copy of the service manual though...
