404 w drum machine and axiom 25

i was thinking of purchasing a drum machine. i was wondering if anyone works with a drum machine hooked up to their 404. If so, what drum machines do you recommend? and what are some advantages/disadvantages to doing so?



Also, kinda unrelated. . . I have an axiom 25 keyboard controller that i use for my DAW. i was wondering if there was a way to hook up the controller to the 404 so that i can pitch my samples using the keyboard??? trying to get around the shitty pitch fx
