hi,
anyone got some experience with SD to CF memory card adapters?
since my search for CF memory cards under 1 gb rarely has any positive effects, i was thinking about bying a SD to CF cards adapter (in my local shop something around 17 euro) and then bying a SD card of 512 mb (something around 11 euro's)
but i'm not sure whether such a solution is possible/workable, anyone got any ideas or experiences with it?
+ anyone knows whether knob and pad performances can be sampled on the sp 606? if tried to sample pad and knob performances but thus far without any success
thanks

I've sent a lot of people to this site to buy various types of cards. ALways good luck with them too.

Try resampling...if you want just to record the perfomance(not audio), meaning the pad hits and the movement of the knobs ,in order to edit them later you need a computer.

Hello,
Any news on this perhaps ? I'm curious to hear if either the SD to CF adapter route could work, or whether the SP-606 accepts 1G or 2 G cards & simply use them up to 512MB.
Thanks !
PS
For the old little Roland MS-1, both are working: PCMCIA-to-SD adapter (picky on type though), with SD-cards over 40MB work well.
