new project

so this is something i've been sleeping on for awhile, but per my 2011 resolutions, i've decided to bite the bullet and ACTUALLY try to DO something instead of just thinking about it. who knows, maybe nothing will come of this, but here goes:

i am interested in finding 1 maybe 2 people living in the socal area to form a somewhat experimental/weird/cool/good music type doohickey- i hesitate to use terms like band, group.

i hate when people reference other groups/bands etc., but to give you an idea of the sounds i find influential and the general direction i could see things heading: unkle, godflesh, maybe dalek? and crash worship (performance wise). sp's, live drums, synths, turntables, heavy dark awesomeness...with emphasis on live performance. i have a few decent venues i could get booked at for sure if we ended up putting together something decent sound/performance wise.

i'm 33 years old, a drummer, performer, sp user, and i've been dying to start something new, cool, somewhat original, interesting and NOT BORING. i've been in many bands, some good, some horrendous, and am extremely eager to create.

if this makes any sense or sounds interesting, you're not a flake, are talented, and are interested in creating something, lemme know.
