All I do is make music and live the good life with my friends and family, I actually tracked 26 songs last night and I don't really sequence 'cause it slows down my process. I like to throw some sounds in and play with 'em while I record for like 20 mins then I just edit 'em down in audacity. I actually don't remember where I got that sample but if I come across it I send you the file, I actually collected records before I had a turntable so I had tons when I finally bought one in Seattle. I also have around 200,000 digital files 'cause me and my friend repair computers for friends and clients and we always bring an external hard drive to copy all the persons mp3's while we fix the computer. oh yeah and porn you wouldn't believe the shit people have on there computers, it's like being able to look in someones head and trust me you don't wanna know what most people are thinking. On the mixtape thing I'm saving that for to give my friend at ABB records here in Oakland, if I can get my foot in the door I'm hookin' up all my folks here in the Bay and probably some cats here since there is amazing talent all over this site.
i like that one alot man. you got to hook up with some vocalists!
he who hesitates gathers no moss

Yeah, I know some rappers here in the bay my friends cousin Mistah F.A.B, but that cat on my FL Studio track is my friend that's homeless. He's super talented and he is a super accomplished martial artist and studies eastern religion and medicine like myself. He never trips on money and actually choses to not conform to society so that he won't be corrupted by it, I want to get him signed somewhere 'cause he has a lot to say that could help people out.
I'm really glad you liked the song, I actually think that beat is kinda lame compared to what I can make now in FL Studio but I just love that flow every time I hear it.

is this "if I Should Die Tonight"?
i'm feeling it man, nice and laid back, but the kick is punchy and provides a good strong foundation. i like the double snare hits when they appear, are you playing drums live on this?
gonna have a listen to the rest of your page while i do some study

Respect. It's a real simple loop but it sounded fresh when I was listening to my records one night some I put drums to it and just fucked with the isolator while I recorded as you can hear, even though it's a straight up loop the isolator makes it sound like it's changing over the duration.

shit man, i'm glad you pointed that out. i was really feeling the sweeping modulation, i coulda sworn it WASN'T a loop...good work. i've never used the Isolator as a dynamic effect, generally just applied it to something, resampled, then moved on. might have to rethink that approach
i'm really feeling Astrological. the drums are mad, especially that little roll and the open hat.

Yeah, I was trying to mimic what my friend in Seattle does with eq's when he spins house music. The drums in Astrological are all the same break 'cause someone once told me that a real drummer wouldn't have random snares or kicks like a lot of hip hop beats 'cause the sound won't be as cohesive so I tried it out and really felt him on that, plus I always try to do something a little different 'cause I not a fan of to much set in stone beat structures. Those drums are from the Red Octopus album from Jefferson Starship that I for some reason have to copies of, but anyways J Dilla used them as well if you couldn't already tell from how the kick busts you upside the chesticles. Finally yes I played the drums live, the man reason I wanted the sp-303 was to get the spontaneous live djing kinda sound as opposed to the composed beats I make in FL Studio and Acid Pro.
