presetting effects parameters

Post by pineapplepete »

hey guys

i'm trying to set the parameters of the super filter before i apply it, so i know that its low-pass, the cut off is at the maximum, and the resonance is at the minimum. there's something in the manual saying that if i hold down remain and then turn the knobs, the effect i apply next should come in with those parameters, but i cant get it to work. anyone have any experience with this?

I was working on this today myself. I think I figured it out. BTW I am on a 404sx, but this was the only topic I found on this. I think it only works when one effect is already applied. So say the reverb effect is on, every knob is turned all the way up(cranked clockwise), and you want to set parameters for no lows on the isolater. Hold remain, turn ctrl knob 1 all the way off and turn knob 2 and 3 all the way up. Release remain. Then hit the isolator pad and the parameters are set as directed. It worked for me... good luck 8)

hey pete - I didn't get the effect remain bit to work either, but what I do just save that effect in "effect memory" and call it up that way, much easier imo.

use the affect assign button instead of the remain button, it does exactly what you you're trying to do
Never assume anything.
