audio quality 320kbps

what up does anyone know how to record out of an sp and record at a higher bit rate than 128kbps? i want to get a higher quality around 320kbps.

When you record into Audacity it generally saves in WAV or AIFF as default (which is highest quality you can get). Just export it as MP3 and select which bitrate you want it encoded at. You might have to click "advanced" in the save box when it asks about which file type.

Formal, speaking of Audacity, do you ever work with 11k project rate? I feel I get better results on the render...
