Is there a chance that sp-forums will have a messaging service? In the meantime;

yeah, a private message service would be pretty useful!

anyways, as for the sp12 - its incredible!
I just got it home a few hours ago, but its already a blast to work with! and its really nice to have velocity sensitive pads, a proper pitch shifter, a much more advanced sequencer and most of all that sp1200 sound!

It fills in for the for all the jobs the 404 cant do. and with saying that, its worth mentioning that the 404 is still the king unit on my desk!

in addition, its beyond mint! not a scratch. It also looks like it hasnt been used in the past 20 years, as there werent even any samples in it. just a few sequences made up of the stock samples and thats it.

I already made a few kits with the 404's effects and SP12s filters. and when i have a big enough folder of custom kits, ill post em up.

yeah, heres a quick clip i did with the sp12. I also bought my first mic(an SM57), so heres a document of my first time recording with each.

Although all the drums are mono, as i havent got a mixer or anything to record out of the 8 outputs.
