Re: batch conversion for mac?
if u have itunes, ive used it to make mp3's out of wavs, not sure if it can do mp3s to wavs. just highlight all the tracks and the option is up in the tool bar somewhere. u can burn a cd and import the tracks as whatever you want as well.

i really don't like itunes, for memory usage reasons. i use Cog instead, which is just a basic player but very good, and it doesn't hog memory which i need for other stuff like photoshop.
other than that the other direction (mp3 to wav) is more important. thanks though.

itunes can convert to wav, you set the conversion settings in the cd ripping/importing section of prefs, then r-click on selection in itunes and say 'convert to x'
I use switch as well, or if you need to change the bitrate i got this app called Sample Manager - the free version u can only convert 10 at a time, but it still lets you load the whole list in at once so you select the 1st 10, click convert, select the 2nd 10, etc
