not really, but i think i pulled it off well!
im new here. i hope i can start contributing soon.
i first bought a 404, scored a 303 for $80.
404 sounded harsher compared to the 303 so i sold it.
but the 303 is a little too slow so i sold it, did some research and just acquired the 505 last week.
it's definitely a different animal. i miss the simplicity and layout of the 303, but the precision and options the 505 offers is awesome. i have 2 minidisc recorders and using the optical in is nice. also the coaxial in is a nice touch.
i've already found a flow working with this thing. in another couple weeks... watch out!

Re: Wood Panel SP?
very cool. i think yr right about the 505 - not as straight forward as the 303 / 404, but more options and very easy to get into a great flow.

Re: Wood Panel SP?
Hahaha! Even with contact paper that's still classier than those Styleflip jobs! Well done mate!
I bet that wood paneling increased the sound quality of your recordings & makes even the dullest sample dope.
