edit: Alright, I figured out that the Impulse Instrument can do it but I'd rather go with the Drum Rack instead cause I'm not able to manage which sound goes to which pad and I can chose fewer sounds...

Ableton Live question
I've been trying to get into Live for while now and I'm quite enjoying it so far. What I couldn't figure out is how to have a sample keep playing after I release the pad on my controller - like on the SP with Gate Mode off. I bet it's really simple but I couldn't find a hint anywhere on the web.

Re: Ableton Live question
sounds like you just need to turn the sustain and release all the way up.

Re: Ableton Live question
The delay does nothing for me but if I turn up the release knob it's just perfect! Thanks a lot for pointing me into the right direction, though
Now I can finally start banging out some live beats with my MPD.
