help with sample loops to pattern

I have been practicing my chopping and have found that when I match up my sample loop (after making the adjustments to loop flawlessly) to record onto a pattern I sounds good for the first go through and then it runs a second go through and its blank example bpm counter 4 measures right I place the sample perfectly into the 4 measures but for some reason it runs a second 4 measures that has no sound and then it raps back around to the original 4 measures with the sample. Any one no what I might be doing wrong. I have adjusted the loops to fit inside of a 4measure 80 bpm as the pad told me the loop was at 80 I then set the bpm of the pattern to the same. Any help would be great I can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong. By the way this doesn't always happen I have made a few work in the past.

Turn off the loop button for the sample, then the pattern will play as expected.
