BPM Changing when not wanting

I recorded a sample of a guitar riff.. and I recorded a sample of some drums
The BPMs change when I go into record mode for patterns.. The Riff will be ok but the drums play slowly.. or Vice versa.. It drives me nuts and I dont know how to fix it.

Anyone know?

you set the bpm of the pattern in the record screen, of course.

it sounds like your guitar riff is playing in 'phrase' mode, so yr hearing a timestretch maybe?

hit the button to go into the 'wave edit' screen for the guitar riff, click down til you get to phrase, change it to 'single'.
