Ok i got this cool piece of gear , i wanna use for my liveset.

What i want to know is can i load ultra big samples onto it? I wanna bounce 2 tracks of my liveset from my daw. Kicknbass on one track , and the rest on another . It will be 60 minutes of each so i think it should be somewhere like 700 mb each file. So will the wave utility compress and load a 700mb file and assign it to the pad without problems and if it does then will it playback seamlessly without hiccups?

I read somewhere that sp-555 formats the cf card according to its own filesystem which is very close to FAT16 and since fat16 supports upto 2gb will the sp555 support somewhere close to that atleast? Anyone tried this big files?

yeah man, the SP's are great for that kind of thing because they read the file straight from the card (dont have to fit the sample into a smaller internal memory like MPC etc.)

The SP-555's card size limit is 2gb, so you're good to go if you have one!
