I just got a twitter add from a company that sells recorded mp3s which contain "detailed guided imagery crafted by experts and a sound-wave technology tailor made to achieve specific challenging goals"- like passing a bar exam.
I am naturally a huge skeptic, specifically against snake oil products that purport to do this or that carelessly backed up with decorative pseudoscience- but I'm also open minded.
I started reading the "how it works" tab, and became more curious (also tired- it's late/early here in the US). But I figured it would be worth throwing to the forums to see what everyone thinks of this system: http://powerdreams.com/
I'm going to read it all tomorrow

I do believe in this(not the product but the idea behind the topic) not saying that whatever this company is peddling is truthful. Music has a profound effect on us in many different ways. They have proven(or so i've heard) that listening to Mozart will make you concentrate more and test higher on tests or something of this nature. I myself can truthfully say that different music has profound affects on me in different ways. Its actually a topic that I constantly explore.
