freakin resamplin issuee

aight
so i gotta sample on a pad and i put some eq effect on it and when i try and resample to another pad with the effect on it fuckin goes breaky poo and sounds like complete poopy poopers... like it sounds fine when im not resampling, but as soon as i hit resample and rec the sample sounds like my wires are loose death sizzle poop farmer.. any clues yall?

MY ONLY IDEA IS (U R USING THE EQ RIGHT?) THAT UR REC LEVEL IS COMING THROUGH TOO HIGH WHEN U RESAMPLE. GOTTA MAKE SURE IF UR USING EQ, UR BASS, MID, ARENT TOO HIGH.

maybe try cancel+mfx to turn on limiter, although it does tend to make the sound a little more quiet than you may prefer. or as computers would say.... turn off pooper mode :)

effect limit would be nice, I've almost killed a set of speakers using really tight delays on my 303. Resampling is like drinking, you have to know when to enough is enough. Just a random guess, but when my 303 does the crazy shit noises I just initialize the internal memory and it fixes itself. 303 and 404sx might have different CPU's though.

makes sense, it IS compressing it again?... but the kick sounds so good with the eq! bout to have to throw a shoe.

effect limit is prolly the way to go then
