Resampling question

Im thinking bout grabbing a 505 but wanted to ask u guys a question.

Does the 505 allow u to resample the input(line in) and a pad at the same time?
any feedback would be appreciated.

Its been a year, but I'm sure its possible, I use to resample my keys with a sample.

Ella did you try activating the Ext Source first before resampling? I'm sure it can be done or maybe I'm thinking of the 303.

Thanks for the input Ill. The 303 does do it. Im prob gon grab a 303, but if the 505 does it also, i might grab a 505 instead.

I knew it, because the 303 and the 505 are almost the same, except one has a screen and bigger memory. Unfortunately I sold my 505, but I remember I use to lace samples with basslines from my old Yamaha PSR and such.

yeah ILL, i've forgotten that the 303 beast can do that too...
maybe the 606 too?

Don't feel bad, I'm sure there has to be a pseudo way to resample live input on the 404. On the 606 was a little bit different to resample than on the 505. I never owned the newer SPs (202 to 606 only) but when you press resample can't you just press the input source pad?

Nah... it doesn't work like that I've pressed all the pads I could think of and I don't think there's anyway to accomplish this.

Luckily, I got another sampler at hand!
