recording question

yo,

im experiencing a lot of fuzz when i record with my 404. ive pluggesd in through the headphones jack, and the line out, didn't seem to make any noticeable difference, i also used a DI box which helped out some, but there is still a lil fuzz when i trigger a sample...any suggestions for me?

Try plugging the 404 into a diff electrical outlet. Also look at the source you are recording from and make sure there is no buzz to begin with. Also gain structure- make sure the source is not turned up too loud or soft and the input gain on the 404 is not set too high.

also, if yr recording from an older turntable, make sure it is grounded and not producing yr hum. what's yr recording source for the fuzz?
