MV froze

i was gonna upload some samples and my mv is frooze in the usb sreen and says its connected. has this happened to anyone? what do i do?

edit: i found in the manual. it just says to turn it off. it worked. seems to be fine now.

Never had that happen to me (no freezes here), but if the USB connection causes problems, make sure you're not running programs like Windows Media Player or WinAMP on your PC (or Real Player etc. etc.) These programs want to add the MV audio content to their respective music libraries and that can a. cause files to be deleted from the MV or b. cause your MV to crash/freeze.

I suspect something like that might have happened. Or it might have been Windows trying to index the MV hard drive, before copying files. But that shouldn't normally cause a freeze or crash.

I'd check if all samples and instrument kits are still there though...
