Thought you might enjoy this demo video i did of the new Roland VP-7 Vocal Designer. It can be used as a great EFX tool for your SP. Sample your voice thru it , run existing vocal samples in your SP thru it to get great harmonies and vocoded effects. Also run your drum loops thru it for weird harmonic effects to be re-sampled.

Its a great accompaniment to the MV / SP or Fantom G for vocalists without the need for a computer.

Well this dude does work for Roland.... I'm sure he can "make" all the Rolly gear work together even if not practicle.

True, but his point is that you can use the VP-7 without the need of a computer. You do realize that most artists depend on vocal tuning plug-ins in DAWs and all that, right? Well this is just a (potential) alternative to that.

As far as not being practicable, he's really not doing anything more but sequence midi information into the MV-8800, that will then output both the original sample and control the VP-7 to change the pitch and such.

I can't think of a reason why this would be unpractical, as I do this all the time with sound modules and such. (You can also use a DAW sequencer to control the very same..)
