Hi all, i would like to get some help regarding the sp 555 and 404sx, did some researches but didn`t find an exact answer, i am considering one of the following to use in live situation and my thoughts are.. can you save the music your doing to then load it later before the session? and do the 404sx + 555 have the feature of muting indivial sounds from the pads (like the pad mute feature on an mpc)????

you can fit quite a bit of music on the 555's card thats already loaded, and you can switch out cards on the fly. im not sure you will be able to import files on the fly, as it takes a while

there isn't a dedicated feature for muting but there is an easy work around. it involves setting the parameters of an effect so that when applied it just silences the material. then with effect assign you can choose which ones you want silenced.
