Hey guys, this is my first time posting because my brother just showed me the Sp-404, and I was wondering if it's a good model for a beginner to start with. Tips would be helpful! I.e. Where to buy etc.

This part of the forum is dedicated to the 404/404sx as you probably already noticed... Digging through this section will give you tons of info as well as tips and tricks as well as RTFM. The 404 is dope, it's simple yet powerful as a mug and can be easy as well as difficult to get a grasp on... You can find them by searching www.google.com, www.guitarcenter.com, www.samash.com, www.eBay.com, www.craigslist.com... I'm courious as to how you found this website before finding a place that sells them...

judging by your "cheers" im guessing youre from the UK... if so most of those links i sent wont do you any good.... i have a catalog somewhere from the uk... its a dj catalog... i would still use good ol google or even ebay...

if your from the uk digi village (dv247.com) are selling og 404 for £220 and the new sx for £289, cheapest i've seen in the uk.
