this is the ROYALTY FREE, sound effects library, given away FREE by the BBC.

they are in HIGHEST QUALITY 'flac' format (superior to mp3) and can be converted back to 'wav' with NO loss of quality from the original.

Audio Quality - FLAC 1.2.1, PERFECT (Lossless), 44.1Khz, stereo, 16bit, 1411kbps, (CRC)

This is the FULL 60 CD's in PRO QUALITY - the 40 original CD's, and the 20 bonus '2nd Edition' CD's. The full CD listing and individual sample details are in 'BBC_sfx_Listings.rar'. - Size : 17.2 Gb (the set of 60 CD's are being sold online for ?400/$600 - phhht!)

Wow, that's awesome, but 16 GB?
It takes about an hour for my computer to download a GB(if the internet doesn't crash), so I'll probably have to pass :(

It's downloading slow so it's gonna be a while before its done. Once it does finish I'll see if I can condense it into a best of sort of thing and upload it to mediafire or something.

It will take a week but I'll download it and then convert it to mp3(low quility) just for preview so anyone can hear the samples and then download certain pieces from the t0rrent :wink:

I found a r@pid$hare link but it's mp3 320kbs...if anyone intrested pm me...tommorow i"ll post an ultra low-fi version for preview...!

fyi this is a veryy popular sample pack with movies and tv shows. they are used constantly and are pretty much industry standard

I shrinked it to 950mb!it's not in mp3 but in aac(mp4) format...again if anyone is intrested pm to send a link :wink:

I'm used to downloading them Kickass before. There are some Kickass alike sites: http://www.videoconverterfactory.com/tips/kickass-alternative.html
You may have look at this review and find the sources. All the sites have quite a massive database.

I decided to change my old laptop. I am windows user and probably wont switch to mac so that isnt an option. I looked on the internet and saw that there is some good options out there.
