Re-syncing to external Clock mid performance!

Hi -

I'm using an SP404 that's tempo synced to an external master sequencer being operated by another band mate. Every now and again i make a stupid mistake and instead of pressing a non-playing Pattern pad to queue the next pattern up, i hit the pattern that is playing and stop the SP404 all together!

The trouble is, the only way of getting the two to sync back up is to stop everything and start again (highly embarrassing live!) Is there no way of getting the SP404 to lock back into the clock without restarting the master sequencer?
