Hi there,
I was looking into buying an auto tuner for my vocals. Mainly for fun, but also for serious pitch corrections. I can sing a little bit, but my vocals aren't super pitchy (short pitch range I guess).
Now I've read and seen a few; Antares AVP-1 , Antares ATR-1, TC Helicon Voiceworks, Digitech Vocalist.
I am currently bidding for an ATR-1, but the TC Helicon Voiceworks seems to be on a whole different level.
I'm just wondering if anyone in here has some experience with these vocal related auto tuners. I am not so much interested in the T-pain kind of FX stuff, I am more interested in a pitch correction.
Am I right in thinking the ATR-1 is about the same as the AVP-1, except for less compression and EQ settings?
It's too bad I don't have much cash at the moment, because otherwise I'd go for the TC Helicon Voiceworks in an instant. The harmony and pitch correction is MAD impressive.
Anyways, peace ya'll.
