midi syncing

hey guys
just got a 404 and im loving it
i just haverun into one problem that perhaps someone here could help me with. Im trying to sync the 404 with my sr16 drum machine and it works, for the most part. but whenever i set the tempo on the sr16 its always 1 bpm higher on the 404, like if i put the sr16 to 80 and hit play the 404 will start at the same time but it will be playing at 81. I synced my friends 303 to this same drum machine and it worked fine so i dont really understand the problem, if anyone knows what could be up itd be sweet if you could help me out

...well are you sure that the 404 is off-sync?
I mean whenever I use it in sync with other stuff it always shows me a different bpm (+/- 3bpm !!!) but it's 100% in sync anyway... don't thrust numbers!
