just got the 404 today

... and it says in the manual that if the sound is too low when i sample, i can just adjust the volume on my cd player... but i want to sample from my record player on which i cant adjust the volume!

what do i do??

get a dj mixer. The Numark dm950 is 40 bucks and works pretty well for me.
