Ok, another MIDI question. Is it possible to, in external mode, switch the lights on the pads on and off, like with most MIDI controllers?
Im controlling Traktor Scratch Pro, and I want to see if loops are active or not, on what decks is my focus, etc. So that if I press pad 1, my focus inside Traktor goes to deck A(I already got this mapped), but also pad 1 on the sampler lights up.
Same for pad 2 - virtual deck B, etc.
I already tried the midi-in notes for the pads, but that made Traktor trigger samples from my SP606, which is not what I want.
So, is this possible at all? And if it is, what midi-messages should I send?
MIDI-in LED control?

You are going into the dark side of midi...!the best thing is to contact to Roland support(if any)...
Just crossed my mind that using a program like midiox you can find the sysex data the sp606 transmits on other modes such us mute-solo etc...then if tractor can send midi for the things you want to focus maybe 606 responds...although i think that you will need a midi translation program to convert real-time sysex to midi cc and vice-versa...
Hmmm...forget it!it really needs much work to be done....!
