Owl Worship

Post by IIIII »

I stayed at my girlfriends place sun-mon, and while she was at work made one side of a beat tape for her. Plan was to make the whole thing but making that much music is really tough lol. Just got on the 404 and banged out some spontaneous beats, no regrets. recorded to tape. before i left i snagged a recording of half of the side, here it is. one of the beats is from a past battle but all the others are new.

ya know, i'm diggin this quite a bit. i like in the first track that you do a quick transition to 3/4 and then back into 4/4.

i think it's weird and funky w/ out trying to be, you know, FONKIE!! or whatever. noise becomes beat becomes noise, etc.

cool & weird basically. nicely niced. (i'm only about four pieces in right now)

I like the dark trip hop style of the 2nd half, nice beats around 9min but the real gem is the beat around 13 mins, drums sound real nice and the beat is cool the beat around 14 is tasty too - oh and about 15.

I'd like to hear a crisper recording but thats it.

Nice work my good man.

your style fascinates me, very very unique and (seemingly) technically amazing.
