Portable Pitch Shifter

Post by iG9 »

1. Have an iPod
2. Install Rockbox http://www.rockbox.org/
3. Hold down the select button while a song is playing
4. Choose "Pitch"

There ya go. Pitch it from 50% to 200%.

Installing Rockbox also has a bunch of other cool benefits, like support for damn near every audio type (ogg, flac, wma, etc...) and the ability to create playlists directly on the iPod. So you can cue up all the songs you want to hear without having to mess with it every track.

That's prettty damned cool. I tried installing Rockbox some time ago, the installer kept hanging up. Maybe I'll try it again.

At the very worst you'll have to restore your ipod via itunes. It won't brick it or anything.
