Hi guys
i thought about buying an sp555 and i like all the options it has(the only con for me is that it doesn't have a screen).
but i need to know, can i use it as my sound card on the pc?
like use it with asio and recording vocals straight to the daw i'm using(in my case fl studio).
A question about the sp555 before buying one

So, I need to know some things before spending that money...
I need a machine that plays loops in sync, and that FX section (basically triggering song elements). I don't care about sampling, sequencing, the Loop Capture fiasco or anything (for now at least)
1. According to Roland's website, this baby streams audio directly from the memory card. Does this mean that importing files loads only pad assign data (or possibly play mode and tempo)? How does this affect RAM usage?
2. The manual says that File Import does not load samples individually. Is it possible to load all banks full (and FX settings) in one go? Some folks here complained about this featrue being not reliable enough.. are they the unlucky ones, or is that solved in a fw update?
