DO the sp-404 read .SP0 files?

I haven't used my card reader in like a year so I'm not positive but I think there are .SPO files that come off the 303 along with something like .SMPL files.

yes, and there are also some .PTN files (the pattern files)...
but the sp-404 could read this?...i know that sp-303 and sp-505 can communicate each other through those files...
