Get dry sounding samples sounding nice.

OK This is what I did for the battle 38 sample, it's not really a trick, but it's still a nice little thing to do.

Basically I went on the Chromatic P.S effect on my 505, and turned the 3rd knob so it was 100% the effect and 0% the original sound, and changed the pitches to -1 and +6, and it got a nice sounding chord, and just playing about with it you can get loads of different sounding chords which can completely change the mood of the tune. I thought it was pretty cool anyway.
