settings kept between recording two patterns?

hey!

due to my lazyness the following question came up in the last weeks.

when i am recording a pattern, let´s say 4 bars and QUANTIZE it to 4. than i
play the sounds for the 4 bars. if i want to record a 2nd pattern, does anybody know
if the setting (4 bars and QUANTIZE) is kept? i am always pressing QUANTIZE and than
using the CTLR to check.

I own a 404 and I have to set them each time. As far as I know the 555 doesn't make any difference...

pretty sure the measure setting will pick up whatever you used last... but the default for quantize is "off", so you would need to reset it.
