Okay, so I was thinking about purchasing an MC-303 to use with my SP-555 via midi capabilities. Does anyone know if it would be possible to sequence sounds off of my 555 on the MC-303? So like, say I have some drum sounds on my 555 that I would like the 303 to use in a pattern.
I was wondering if this is possible, since there is no way to load your own sounds onto the MC-303, and I don't want to go and spend a ton of money on an MC-808 or an Electribe at the moment.
What are your guys' thoughts?
A question about 555's and sequencers/grooveboxes

the MC303 can sequence the 555's sounds
this is helpful because with the 555 you are limited to one pattern playing at a time
with the MC303 you could have different patterns running, sequencing different pads
plus, the MC303 also has the XOX sequencing style so you can program beats out that way
there's a ton of MC303s being sold these days, i've used one and it functions a bit dodgy, probably because it's an old unit and it's been used alot. so try before you buy....
