Workaround Needed - Pattern Loops

Hi – I have a 4 bar pattern with all the samples starting on the first beat of the first bar. One sample is very long and I’d like it to start in time with the other short loops but continue through to it’s natural end without restarting when the pattern loop comes back round each time. Is there anyway of doing this?

Triggering it manually over the pattern isn’t an option as it will almost definitely start to drift somewhere.

make a copy of your pattern and in the copy delete the long sample.
Now you can play the first pattern and then line up the second pattern. The rest of the samples get now triggered from the second pattern while the long pattern that got triggered from the first pattern just continues playing.
