battery life

never used batteries with my 404 and i'm wondering if anyone knows how long i should expect them to last when i get on the road.

I took my 404 on a weekend trip and the batteries lasted well. When I got back home I used it for 2 or 3 nights with the same batteries still.. So I'd say the batteri life is surprisingly long. I use rechargable batteries.

Note that I used mostly headphones. I've noticed plugging the 404 to some big ass pa system sucks the power out of the batteries pretty fast.

i'd say about 6hours on average.
