SP-808 - get it before I put it on eBay

Post by jetson »

For Sale!!!!

I'm offering up my near perfect condition SP-808 for $299 to the first
serious buyer. Hurry, before it goes up on eBay in one week!

I am the original owner, and the unit has been in my smoke free home/
studio since I first purchased it.

There are no discernible blemishes on the unit. It is the original
black unit with the upgraded 250 zip drive and the OP-1 SCSI card
with separate track outputs.

The unit comes with the SP-808 Video Manual (I burned the VHS version to DVD), all of the original printed manuals, and a stack of zip disks (including the Roland Demo Disk!)- READY TO RECORD!

I do not have the original box, so it will ship in a generic
container, carefully wrapped and protected for it's journey to a new
owner.

If you are a serious buyer, please reply and we can discuss details
of a purchase through Paypal, or a Cashiers Check/Money Order.

I will add shipping costs once I have an address.

BONUS - BONUS - BONUS

Act now and I will throw in a Roland DR-10 Dynamic, Hyper Cardioid
Microphone with a table-top mic stand and cable!

Thanks

Kenny

That sounds like a nice deal, but given my current financial situation and production needs I shouldn't buy any more gear other than an interface right now. Might I suggest that you cover up the knobs with some cap covers for the push top nozzles from bottles of water or some soft drinks? If you tape those in place they could help to keep the knobs from harm.

EDIT: That should be"gear", not "gore".

Damn - I guess the old 808 has seen it's days! I'll throw it up on eBay and see what happens. I'm not desperate to sell, so no biggie. Maybe one day it will be a collectors item? Nah - -

peace
